An Open Letter to Senator Rand Paul: Our Founding Fathers were Men of Letters

Senator Rand Paul
United States Senate
Washington, D.C.
Dear Senator Paul,
I write to you as a constituent and visionary entrepreneur committed to covenantal economics and interfaith reconciliation. My latest scroll, The Abrahamic Singularity Protocol: Covenantal Trade Nexus for Regional Reconstruction and Global Fiscal Balance, outlines a plan that could save the American taxpayer between $50–90 billion while simultaneously building government infrastructure within Palestine. This proposal is rooted in God’s covenant with the descendants of Abraham—both Isaac and Ishmael—to make them into great nations.
Fiscal Relief for Taxpayers
The United States currently shoulders immense costs in foreign aid and reconstruction. My proposal shifts this burden by establishing a 3–7% shipping fee on regional trade corridors such as the India–Middle East–Europe Corridor (IMEC) and EcoPeace routes. These funds would be collected locally, monitored transparently by the IMF, and dedicated to rebuilding Gaza into a spiritual retreat center operated by Palestinians. This mechanism relieves U.S. taxpayers while ensuring accountability and regional responsibility.
Beyond the Abrahamic Accords
It is important to distinguish the Abrahamic Singularity Protocol Covenantal Trade Nexus from the Abrahamic Accords. The Accords were primarily political normalization agreements, transactional in nature, focused on security cooperation and arms deals. By contrast, the Covenantal Trade Nexus is not another charitable foundation or diplomatic accord. Relief is temporary; covenant is enduring.
The Covenantal Trade Nexus is covenantal infrastructure—a sanctification of trade, law, and governance under God’s covenant with Abraham’s descendants. Where philanthropy alleviates suffering for a season, covenant transforms the very architecture of economies and politics so that suffering is not endlessly reproduced. It calls Isaac and Ishmael’s descendants to sanctify commerce, ecological stewardship, and constitutional reform together, fulfilling God’s promise to make them both into great nations.
Introducing Covenantal Democracy
The Abrahamic Singularity Protocol also pioneers a new branch of governance: Covenantal Democracy. Unlike Socialist Democracy, which builds empires upon sand, Covenantal Democracy builds upon the Rock of God’s love as a higher virtuous law. This covenantal foundation harmonizes the teachings of Saint Paul, the wisdom of Confucius, and the sacred inscriptions of the Torah, Qur’an, and Gospels.
Covenantal Democracy reduces alienation by making new AI tools of production more available to the working class, sanctifying commerce, and embedding virtue into economics. It offers a pathway to fiscal responsibility and moral governance—an antidote to war-driven capitalist fascism and ideological fragmentation.
Personal Testimony and Value of Labor
The work I am doing should have as much value as washing dishes with a Bachelor of Science degree. I am not seeking extravagant wealth, but a modest stipend—$1,000 per month—to dignify the labor of covenantal testimony. My proposals are not speculative dreams; they are structured pathways to fiscal balance and interfaith renewal.
Entrepreneurial Vision
Beyond taxpayer relief, I propose that commissions on steel imports be tied to the $600 billion U.S.–Saudi fund, underwriting my vision for AI-driven television to empower entrepreneurs across America and the world. This initiative could evolve into a venture capital hedge fund generating multimillions annually, strengthening U.S. innovation while sanctifying trade.
Restoring the Broken Covenant
I also commend to your attention our policy brief, Restoring the Broken Covenant in America through Western Hemisphere Unification, available at The Abrahamic Protocol website. This companion proposal envisions redirecting steel imports to strengthen hemispheric trade ties, rebuild Gaza and Ukraine, and restore covenantal democracy.
Closing Benediction
Senator Paul, I urge you to consider these proposals not only as fiscal policy but as covenantal testimony—an opportunity to sanctify trade, uplift nations, and relieve the American taxpayer. Together, we can move beyond temporary accords and toward enduring sanctified infrastructure and covenantal democracy.
Respectfully,
Mark W. Gaffney
